The Monolith is an in-house fabrication studio based in International City, Dubai. We design and build architectural scale models, 3D printed prototypes, monumental sculptures, and brand experiences for developers, government entities, and international brands across the UAE and GCC. Every discipline, from CNC machining to CGI animation, sits under one roof and one production schedule.
Most fabrication in this region is a relay race: a model shop subcontracts the CNC work, the CNC shop subcontracts the finishing, and the client absorbs every handoff as delay and risk. We built The Monolith to remove the relay entirely. CNC machining, 3D printing, hand-finishing, electronics, graphic design, CGI, and film production all happen inside our own workshop, by our own team, on our own schedule.
That structure is why we can hold tolerances other studios can't guarantee, and why we can commit to timelines other studios won't. It is also why our clients keep coming back for the next project instead of shopping the brief around.
Our work has ranged from a two-metre championship trophy fabricated for the Esports World Cup, to a 92nd-anniversary campaign film produced for Spinneys, to product visualization and packaging work for brands including Adidas and TheraBreath. On the built-environment side, we've delivered master plan and interactive sales models for real estate clients, and large-format sculptural installations for hospitality and retail environments across the UAE. Government and enterprise clients including Dubai Police and NEOM-affiliated projects have relied on us for precision fabrication where tolerance and confidentiality both matter.
We don't publish every project. Confidentiality is part of how we work with developers ahead of a launch, and with brands ahead of a campaign.
The Monolith's workshop is run by a team of model makers, CNC and 3D printing technicians, electronics engineers, graphic designers, and film crew, working from a single production facility in Dubai's International City. Our craftsmen collectively hold years of hands-on fabrication experience across architectural modelling, industrial prototyping, and large-scale sculptural work, which is why briefs that other studios decline are the ones we take on.
